SOUND AND SACRED GEOMETRY
An Interview with Kay Ferry

Client: What is the relationship between sound and Sacred Geometry?

Kay:
Through my studies of Quantum Physics and Cymatics it has become evident that Science has found a fundamental relationship between Sound and Sacred Geometry. The formula is simply:

Frequency (vibration) = Geometry

Frequency creates geometry and geometry creates frequency. Or said in another way: form is a result of vibration and vibration is a function of form. Matter somehow exists because the energy of that matter is held in place as the substance of vibration.

Dr. Hans Jenny has pioneered the work in Cymatics which is the study of the effects of sound on matter. At the turn of twentieth century he was pioneering the effects of sound on matter. Using steel plates covered with sand he would create
sound by drawing a cello bow along the edge of the plate. The resulting vibration formed the sand into geometric patterns.Certain tones (frequencies) formed predictable patterns. Thehigher the frequencies the more complex the pattern. Dr. Jenny has shown that the interference patterns resulting from vibration may describe metaphorically what drives creation.

As Gregg Braden has so masterfully explained in his book, Awakening to Zero Point:
"Creation exists, portrayed as energetic patterns of wave form, aligning along predefined guide-lines of expression. As the tones of creation propagate throughout various environments, they produce predictable, repeatable expressions...
as star systems, planets, atoms, cells, quanta."

Client: Have you experienced any geometric forms while toning in a group?

Kay: Yes, The vibration created by a group toning/chanting often creates a group perception of the same geometric form, and usually there is a color that most perceive. This is a fascinating and mind-boggling event, yet it does happen. Toning creates a powerful vibrational container within which geometric phenomenon occur.

You, of course, have knowledge of the five platonic solids. These represent the five elements:

tetrahedron = fire
cube = earth
icosahedron = water
octahedron = air
dodecahedron = ether/prana

Toning with harmonics can effect any one of the above, a combination of two or more, or nested forms within what is called Metatron's cube. The more complex the harmonics, the more complex the form. These events demonstrate the healing power of harmonics. There are harmonics that we, at the present time, do NOT hear, yet. These harmonics, I believe, happen in the "inner landscape" first; the inner ear knows them first, then they occur in the physical. This is very exciting to me!

Client: Are their other geometries that relate to sound?

Kay: Ah, Yes! There are many remarkable relationships, but I would like to mention the one that has to do with "The Golden Mean" which is the perfection of measurement: the phi ratio l.618. It appears that the heart, when experiencing unconditional love, expands and produces a pressure measured at 1.618. If, while toning in a group, you experience this love, the sound resonates with the l.618 effect, creating all manner of harmony and communion. Harmonic sounds emerge and ripple outward to the environment carrying energy and intent.

Tom Kenyon has done extensive research and work in this area. His CD, The Ghandarva Experience, produced in consort with his Harmonic choir, is a synthesis of his extraordinary efforts. He states: "The prayer is that humanity will release itself from spiritual bigotry and intolerance and that ‘the peace that passeth all understanding' may truly reign in the hearts and minds of all peoples."

We need to take to heart the ramifications of sound and sacred geometry.
