About Kay Ferry

Kay Ferry has been toning, chanting, and drumming for over ten years.
Sound teaching is her life~long work.

Kay is a "sound" person. Having been imprinted with the muti-dimensional nature of sound in early childhood, she developed a musical ear easily as she listened constantly to classical music played by her father and older siblings. She grew up immersed in music, rhythms, story, folklore and mythology.

Kay's love of music and global cultures eventually led her to study with Dr. Jean Houston where she was introduced to Don Campbell, author of The Mozart Effect. She subsequently entered Campbell's Therapeutic Sound School.

After graduating Kay pursued other areas of sound including Voice Analysis training with Sharry Edwards. She is currently studying with Joseph Rael, continuing her explorations of Sound, Being, and Vibration.

Kay has given numerous workshops, classes, and lectures on:

Breath and Tone for Health
Sound Practices That Release Stress and Promote Health and Well~Being
Sound Healing: Empowering Your Voice
Sound and Sacred Geometry.

Kay has been an ordained minister with Universal Brotherhood since 1997.

Kay is the co-founder of the Earthsong Sound Mystery School at The EarthSong Peace Chamber in Three Rivers, Michigan, where she resides. She also maintains a private practice of SoundEssence in Kalamazoo/Southbend area.
